How often does your inner dialogue diminish your enthusiasm about something?
What or who is talking anyway? If these questions intrigue you or you have also been asking these types of questions then let's get after it!
I'm excited to share with you the tools I have learned and created to help you become the best version of yourself. We are incredible beings with far more potential than most ever dream of. We all need to take action in our own lives. My mission is to help you understand how the mind works and what you can do to implement lasting change.
I became a massage therapist when I was 19 to put myself through school. I initially wanted to be a physical therapist but as I started to fall in love with massage therapy I also started to notice the mind body connection. More so the mind body disconnection and I became very interested in Psychology.
I moved to Southern California to obtain a degree in psychology. While in school I realized that this wasn’t how I wanted to help people. I had an opportunity to build a new business and my intuition pulled me in this direction so I left school to open a Day Spa.
At this time I was a self improvement junkie! I had read countless books, attended many seminars and was fully enthralled in the art of manifesting. I was incredibly confident that my business was going to be successful.
(Side note: It is really easy to stay in the positive groove when things are flowing and you are happy with life.)
Throughout the entire build out which was an incredible journey of blood, sweat and tears I was still on fire with my business plan to open doors and crush it. But as the money started to drain during the buildout some underlying fears started to brew and I began to attract the people that like to instill their own fears in others about how hard it is to run a business. How horrible employees are and that it takes 5-10 years to get out of the red. Blah blah blah! I was a manifesting machine however so I was able to push this negative crap aside.
But what happens when a disruption occurs? These can happen when we think we have overridden our old, deep seeded beliefs and then something happens to test this. Well... for me shit hit the fan in 2007-2008 when the economy crashed. Almost every tenant in the center where I built my business filed bankruptcy and closed down. We were surrounded by huge corporations that a bulk of our clientele came from and they had also closed.
Suddenly all that I learned wasn’t enough. I never changed the deeper subconscious beliefs I had around money. All the fears I had from childhood money issues and the fears that everyone brought to my attention took over my being.
Around this time I came across something called EFT and decided to take the course and get certified. I connected with this technique immediately.
Long story short this new technique that I learned was a life saver in digging myself out of the deep financial hole. I am proud of myself for never giving up and keeping that business thriving for 11 years until I sold it to move back to Lake Tahoe.
I felt myself change and started working on clients and transforming this technique into something deeper. I learned NLP, Hypnosis and many other meditation techniques. I am now creating ways to help others get out of their own way and create a better life.
